This Hardcore Glass Cable project will be the best cable for Glass as it will to connect to an external battery supply and comfortably keep going and going without ever worrying about the dreaded low power notification.
Better than that, the design has been finessed so that the cable tucks out of the way and behind your ear. It has also been designed so that the cable doesn’t tug at your Glass when you turn your head. It is going to be long enough to snake down your side and into a pocket or bag where you can pack away whatever power pack you want.
I’m looking to raise the funds here to go into production with the Hardcore Glass Cable. I have a working prototype and have already created the first set of 3D proof prints along with the SolidWorks files.
At this point all that remains in the design end of things is to finalize the design, print off a second round of 3D prints to verify the usability and order up molds.
I have a supplier/manufacturer I have used in previous projects already on board with tooling costs, per-part costs and packaging costs quoted and ready to roll. All the graphic arts is done and the packaging design is finalized.
